Barca II - The city
Went to the city to look around today - starting at the Sagrada Familia, and winding our way through the streets to the port.
This is the first time since I got my SLR that I've not taken it on holiday with me. It's odd - I like the freedom to be able put a camera in my pocket, but find the lack of settings and customisation frustrating, especially with focal length. Think I'll have to invest in a nice pocket one for times like this instead of borrowing my mum's camera! As such, I'm not constantly looking for the next photo, so the quality of the photos on the trip might not be up to much. Still, there's still the whole of next year in Spain to get some good ones ;)
Fay comes over to stay in the flat from today; we're still waiting to see if Charlie can make it out after he was too sick to come yesterday.
Kit came over to watch the olympic opening ceremony with us tonight (it had mixed reviews from the group - not too sure what the dancing industrialists were about) before attempting to head out. Tiredness killed me and I had to call it quits, and Kit couldn't find his bike keys so had to go home, so Fred, Marek and Fay went out alone. They came back at 5 and proceded to break all of the eggs in the fridge on the floor. Smooth.
It is hot.
