Barca III - Tibidabo

After failing at going out yesterday and going to bed tired at about 1, I was up at 10 to get my coffee and read the paper in what is quickly becoming a very nice morning ritual. The staff at the coffee shop up the road are really friendly, and I'll occationally ask them to explain a word or two that I don't understand.

Bumped into Fay as I was sat sketching in the street, and we went off to get some bread and eggs for breakfast. One of the stalls here sells an amazing selection - including ostrich, one of which is apparently enough to feed a family.

Charlie arrived at 2 - so good that he could make it out! Feels like he's been here all the time, but we missed him on the first two days.

After lunch, took a walk around the neighborhood, had an iced coffee, before Fay went to get ready for a party she's off to tonight, and the boys and I went on a trek up the mountain of Tibidabo, which involved a (very) sort journey on an amazingly old tram. Couldn't get to the top without forking out another ?8, and by this time the tram had cleaned us out, so we're saving the top for another day. Still had some amazing views over the city.

Headed to the Placa del Sol for some lush Tapas for dinner.

It remains very hot.
