An encounter with the tatting lace and me.
About ten years ago, a friend of mine told me.
"In Myammer, there is a village where many women master the knitting of a tatting lace. In the future, I would like to start trading the product of the tatting lace to support them. But as for now, there is no one who can knit this lace in our side. Don't you learn how to knit for them?"
At that time, I believed myself as terrible in knitting and sewing, so I had wanted to reject her wish. But, the schedule and the lesson fee were acceptable, I decided to start learning this lace.
"The knitting of the tatting lace resembles to ride a byscle." This was said by my respect teacher of this lace. "Before making sucess, it looks terribly difficult, but after getting how to knit, it is very easy."
In my case, I cried over two nights. A small motif in gray ( not white! ) was a proof of my miserable battle in the first encounter with the tatting lace with me.
