.....down.............and up....

Not a good night last night.......dreams and memories..........small sleeps....multiple wake ups.......dreams of Helen.....but not good ones.........the start of her illness......the emergency surgery...........the diagnosis...........her struggling to walk........her telling YH's mum that she knew she wouldn't make the wedding........the panic in her voice when she phoned me on the Sunday to come to the Hospice urgently...........the long night sitting watching the fight for every breath....the end.......telling the kids........the funeral.

Exhausted all day....but three good things at the end of the day.......

I have an appointment to see a neurologist next Thursday...I'm slightly worried...but at least I will eventually know what's wrong with me.

The delectable Vanessa called to bring me my retirement certificate.......we had a lovely chat..........and then she informed me that the girls want to take me out....of course I said yes..........how could I not.......I've missed them all.
