Ooo, we do like a bit of pomp and ceremony with a bit of fun in this country,don't we?

And what better than The Red Arrows?* Whom I have blipped previously (I know, it's despicable to try and up one's blip views by shamelessly linking to old blips. But there you go)

* What better than the Red Arrows? Well, only the Olympic Opening Ceremony ! Entertaining, mad, enchanting, beguiling and beautiful. There's lots of cynics eating their words now and agreeing that it was brilliant. Of course there are one or two still griping. Them? Well they're just boring farts aren't they?

And I know that Macca was dire. But I suppose he is a Beatle. And of the living ones, he was probably the better option.......
