Graduation Day

Today Oskar was promoted from 5th grade, Elementary,  to Middle School.  Both sets of grandparents were there which is important to him.  (aren’t we lucky!)   But I’m blipping his parents with him as it’s a rare shot of the 3 and I think they should be and are proud of him.  It’s not been an easy road but he’s had some wonderful teachers in this small nurturing public school and I’m impressed that one of the school awards is given to the students who are voted by their peers and staff most kind and helpful to others.  It’s a very mixed population… at one point there were 26 languages represented here.   We’re going to miss picking him up after school here!   Well done, Oskar!   Onward to Middle School with his brother.
