Welcome to Faerieville

#1 son and his daughter Tatum arrived on the early ferry to spend the day -partly checking out things for when he has a big group here soon, and partly to drive me home to Seattle tonight, which I appreciated! So I am now in Seattle and delighted to have a decent internet connection! I was so happy that Tatum came along. After filling up with pancakes, she and I made a trek to see the faeries. Then she decided they needed a sign, so wood-burned this one to put at the entrance, and also a mailbox for faerie notes. I liked this photo of her with red shirt amid all that green. You can see Vanessa, the water faerie, Zelda, the faerie Queen and Misty the magic faerie in this shot. (there are more....) You might have to bigify if you want to see them....

While we were doing this , H and son P discovered that the gas line on our little tin boat had been cut, and the gas tank stolen! We had heard a little engine about 2:00 in the morning and H even went down to the dock to check, but didn't see this until today.
This has never happened before - hard to believe! Did someone just need a few extra gallons of gas when the Galiano gas dock wasn't open? Pretty weird.

Nice trip home, which included a short stop at the outlet mall for a few new school clothes for T (hihowareyaspray)... H and I never do this!
