Sunset and Cows

On the way home from choir rehearsal this evening the sun was just setting over the bay.  The end of a lovely, hot sunny day, the warmest I can remember for several years!  Shorts and T shirt weather, Mike out doing bits and pieces on the boat, Ollie and I paddling and cutting the front grass.

This afternoon Mike and I sat in the garden, me with my knitting, doing a crossword, and it was bliss!  The scent of the lavender, lots of bees busy in the flowers and the sparrows are having a whale of a time dust bathing in the veg garden!  Everyone enjoying the sunshine, although Ollie prefers a bit of shade . . . .  

And we went and cast our votes too.  Not long to wait now . . .
