HYDRANGEA QUERCIFOLIA:

Another very grey day with low cloud. Feels as though the ceiling is coming down on us. Poor Cycling Grannie will be apoplectic - told her to buy some wool & start knitting. The winter flowering heathers are beginning to make a splash of colour, but close to the house this gorgeous hydrangea is making a fine display. Nothing to crow about in the summer, but earns it keep at this time of the year.

FaceTime is unknown to me, but last night the phone rings........it is Pauline in Surrey.....how very exciting.......I can't believe it......she, beautifully coiffured, nails varnished, pearly white teeth & me,
just in from the garden......sounded so warm & friendly & looked so young. Oh, don't you love it ? Can't wait to ask the grandchildren about the ins & outs of how it works ? My very first talk on FaceTime ON BLIP ! Please tell me, what is the difference between FaceTime & Skype ?
