Crap

Received really crappy news last night.

I was supposed to go to Newcastle to complete my masters thesis and things all seemed sorted.

The great thing about this was that the project was really interesting and that I would only be 1.5 hours way from Pieter (who is going to do his thesis in Edinburgh). So an ideal solution to possibly being apart for 7 months.

However I received news that it would not be possible to do my research as an unpaid intern and would have to enroll which would set me back 2800 pounds. So now I have to find another project (do all the initial research AGAIN) and it looks like I'll be here in Groningen, way too far away from Edinburgh ...
