The Sewing Bee

The Garden Fairy has other skills. She enjoys sewing.
Monday evenings are the only time I watch the TV, unless there's a rugby match on. The Sewing Bee, fronted by Claudia Winkleman is compulsory viewing for us. I find it very absorbing, the skills demonstrated by the contestants amazes me, their attention to detail, and willingness to assist those having problems removes the nastier edge of competition. 

The stone like object bottom right is made of felted wool wrapped in thin layers of wool, it makes a lovely pin cushion. 

Must be getting old........
