Cardiff Bay Aerial View

I had an early morning call to Cardiff and the weather was lovely; just right for an aerial photograph of one of my favourite places.

The picture shows Cardiff Bay with a view of the Welsh Assembly building, the Millennium stadium and a rather large yacht in dock, probably something to do with The Extreme Sailing event that is being held there over the weekend.

The extra shows Cardiff Bay barrage with some yachts doing some early morning sailing.

At 5pm, Wales played Northern Ireland in The Euro's and Wales won 1-0 to progress to the Quarter Finals. They are doing exceedingly well. I watched the match with my eldest son, in the village pub where he lives. The third extra shows him looking at the screen to see Wales get their goal -  he had just come out of the toilet! Money raised from the bar-b-cue they held went to cancer charity. A lovely evening.
