Family meal

Had a lovely run in the hills with some pals first thing while A took the boys to the museum. We all met up in Edinburgh to have lunch with my uncle and aunt. They come up each year to stay in their time share at the edinburgh residence in new town. They always take us out for lunch and much wine is drunk. I love this picture as it shows all the empty bottles too. My uncle is my Dads brother. He looks and is a lot like my Dad was, which makes it extra special somehow as its a way my boys get to know a bit what my Dad was like. An interesting debate arose between A and auntie when A discovered she voted 'out' to get all these foreigners out of the country. He was quite restrained given how strongly he felt. They parted friends so all was OK despite their very strongly felt differences.
