Just aim a Little Bit Higher Next Time...

Mrs Greenfinch is giving  landing lessons to her baby.

I love watching the little birds feed but it probably wasn't a good time to photograph it so early in the day. I had to choose between a fast shutterspeed with a very grainy shot or a low ISO with blurred wings.

The wee birds were back lit by the first sun we have seen in a few days . I love the way it outlines their little bodies.

One more in extra with Mum coming in to feed the baby.

I had to wait in all day today - first waiting for a phone call then waiting for an Electrician.  My oven took an hour to heat yesterday - I think the element has gone. It will be food from the fryingpan only until that is fixed.
