Family day

Beautiful sunny start to the day ........ Hubby saw this Cinnabar Moth enjoying the warmth :-)

Eldest Son, Daughter-in-Law & the 2 Granddaughters came for a visit ..... they had a great time ..... as you can see in the Extras (also a view of the Lodge from the hill). We went for a walk round the park .... which is a SSSI & saw this Green Tiger Beetle & also a very young fawn hiding in the bracken :-)

Late afternoon we went back with them to their house for dinner ....... as we headed off it started to rain ...... I was really pleased that it had stayed fine while they were there. Had a lovely evening with them then headed back just before dusk :-)

As we arrived back at the Lodge we spotted 2 Fox cubs ...... they were peeping out of the bracken ..... such a sweet sight. We also watched the bats flying about :-)

A lovely day all round :-)
