Blip famine?
Hardly, just a lack of time to take lots of photos today.
A lovely day again looking after the athletes while they trained, this time at a different venue.
Met a wonderful trio of 800 metre athletes from Guam, and their equally brilliant coach.
They were happy to chat after their training session and were great fun. Today's blip is the pin badge they gave me.
There was also the Mexican doing press ups along a row of medicine balls. Start with a press up. Then one hand on the ball and do a press up. Then add the second hand to the ball, press up. Drop the first hand to the floor, press up. Then the other hand, press up. And continue up and down all the way along the line. He had 6 lined up. I managed 3 and he was impressed :) I have a target and something to show my students :)
Basically today I've just done lots of little things that the athletes appreciated.
Such as seeing a Chinese Taipei marathon runner doing 13 miles on the track and thinking "He might need a drink" As it turned out he didn't but he came to find me afterwards to say thank you. How lovely was he for doing that.
A group from The Bahamas wanted a stop watch and the only one I could find was my own.
After my shift I've just done my laundry and had a meal. 8.45 at night and I'm off to bed. But I am up at 5 again in the morning :)
The manager of the hostel has kindly loaned me her office pc to do this, and hopefully link my Facebook to blip too.
Goodnight
