Today's highlight is a simple story of how a dream came true.
A young lady from Papua New Guinea who had no education as a child was spotted running and offered a chance to join a programme for young kids.
There are no running tracks in Papua New Guinea and she had no running shoes: she trained barefoot.
The coach applied for funding for her education and got it.
Later the coach applied for funding so she could train on The Gold Coast with better athletes and coaches. She was given a scholarship at a university so she could train. This developed her English and she is now fluent.
She had a dream to compete at the Olympics. Today I met her
