Back to Alzheimer's Support
Daphne enjoyed my Glastonbury magazine.
We got stuck in the mud at Glastonbury and even the tractor failed to get us onto the track. Thanks to a spontaneous gathering of other drivers who pushed the car, we were home by 10am. We live fairly close to the site.
Florence had a dentist appointment at 3.30 and a train back to Kingston upon Thames to get so I got all her washing done and dried whilst she and Clive slept. I finally crashed at 6pm (ish) and did not stir until morning.
What a brilliant, fantastic, exhausting week. We enjoyed the festival more before the punters were let in. And thoroughly enjoyed our crossing at Cockmill Lane.
Probably won't do it again but never say never.
