Farewells

We had an Audit and Resource Management Committee today. Piles of documents, audit reports and some strategic and operational risk registers. hours of work in preparation so that the Board and Management can be satisfied that we are observing best practice and securing value for money.

It was the last such meeting for two key people.

The first, the main blip, is Dr Linda Watt who has been a Board member of CHS since before go-live and is standing down this month. LInda has brought challenge, perspective and humour to the task and will be missed.

The extra is of Robert Mackenzie from our internal auditors. Robert has been heading up the internal audit team for several years and has been a man of counsel all the time I've been here. He retires in August so this was his handover to Helen on the edge of the picture.

I wish them each well in their next phase of life.
