A rural coup

Today we have two photos. The top one shows a huddle of beasts in an out-of-the way corner in the depression formed by a burn. There is little grass there, and given the current climate politically one can only assume they're up to something. I reckon they're planning a coup ... (ouch)

Meanwhile, a short distance away, a gang of five or so are having an outright battle - at least, two are head to head and butting, while the rest egg them on. The whole group are gradually moving towards the plotters. Clearly there is a leadership battle going on ...

Sorry. But it made me laugh at the time.
