What A Day!

Did you ever have those dreams where you are chasing Santas down the street but you forgot to put on all your clothes? :)

This is one of the images I got at today's Santacon in Portland. Santacon is basically an all day pub crawl for totally irreverent Santa Clauses.

I got my camera and went downtown to catch the action. However, the best part for me was hooking up with a few other photographers as we followed the mayhem. I now know what it must be like to do a blip meet up. A lot more fun to photograph as a group. Also makes the whole process a lot less self-conscious for me. Still I didn't really get any great shots. I need to be a lot quicker and shoot a lot more. Also need to keep my shutter speed high to. I'll post more of my shots when I'm not so hungover (read on).

Then in the evening Kim and I went out on the town. We managed to do our own major pub crawl before going to see Dave Wakeling play at Berbati's Pan. Just an incredible night. Kim and I had so much fun. Drank way too much.
