Ammonites

Went down to the Jurassic coast fossil hunting today. We walked along the beach and over to where there had been a recent cliff fall, overturning and banging at fallen shards of rock l found several Ammonites but chose this photo of an Ammonite almost covered with mud just as the tide was about to come in. Lots of fun and l could have spent all say there splitting rocks to see what was within.
