Beauty of Worcester

I was back at Arduaine this afternoon as I write a monthly blog for the Arduaine Friends website.

I had a quick wander around and was pleased to see a number of clematis in flower. Some years ago I had the idea of growing a late-flowering clematis over every rhododendron, to have a second major flowering in the summer. I never got that far, of course, but certainly managed to plant several dozen and this is one of the earlier ones. A real beauty!
