Brightening up a dull day.

What a gloomy day today! Before I left for the library I re-discovered how to set my Sony bridge to Picture mode in the hope that I could brighten up a dingy day with a more vivid photo effect.

I was on foot, Mrs M being away with the car for the weekend, and as it was barely drizzling when I left home I'd packed my waterproof in my rucksack. Several times I thought I'd stop to put it on, but didn't, and by the time I finally got home I was pretty wet, but as my bag was full of the various bits and pieces that I'd bought, my waterproof was too far down to be easily retrieved! 

The effect of the Picture mode wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped, but here's a trio of sailing ships tied up at the North Pier.
