recital: ("Mother and Child Reunion")

Tonight was L and A's Christmas piano recital.

As usual the recital was held in the chapel at Randolph-Macon Academy. The chapel has excellent acoustics and someone actually tuned the piano since last time.

L. played Jose Feliciano's "I Want To Wish You A Merry Christmas" with great aplomb , and A. performed well too.

The lighting sucks and usually I don't even bother trying to shoot during these recitals, but watching this mother use her still camera and i-phone at the same time to record her child's performance was priceless.
