Happy 149th Birthday Canada

We attended the annual Canada Day party and BBQ at our friends home. We had 3 separate rain showers blow through but were well covered with huge umbrellas and had the house to hide in. It ended up to be sunny and warm and we loved catching up with everyone. We had missed the last 2 years due to our holidays in British Columbia and UK. It was a bittersweet celebration as this was Rick's annual party and our friend sadly passed away from brain cancer just under 3 years ago. The last time we attended Rick was there. His fabulous wife and their family carry on this great tradition. We all wore our red and white patriotic clothing. In this shot you can see our provincial flags. It was a relaxing and fun afternoon.
