Pride Weekend in Toronto
Fun day, we headed in to the city on this lovely saturday. Weather was perfect. The Blue Jays baseball game was on (they won) and Toronto Football Club was playing, markets were packed and Pride weekend was on. The city was hopping and so much fun. We really enjoyed a wander, dinner and taking in all the festivities. This pucture is at Dundas Square which is our smaller version of Times Square in New York. I love the criss cross walks here, it is a scramble and you can walk any way you like, kitty corner, zigzag or straight across. This square is where alot of the Pride events were, you can see the canopies and tents and there are stages to the right. We are looking forward to seeing the advertised movie about what your pets do when you are not at home. We have always been a household of 2 dogs and 1 cat (for 28 years) with the exception of the past 3 years when we have only had the cat who thinks she is a dog. Very intetesting concept to do a cartoon based on the pet's perspective.
