Olympic Opening Ceremony

We had a prime seat to see the fireworks and hear the noise from the stadium. We were in The Counter Cafe, just 100m from the action and with a view of the back entrance where all the VIPs' cars were entering. The Royal cars were theist conspicuous.

Earlier in the day we went down to Embankment to see the torch pass by on the Gloriana barge.
