Discovered this gem of a Yorkshire village when I followed up an advertising flyer for a pottery specialising in ceramic cats

We had a snack lunch in the pub - although we could have indulged in something much larger, I find that when I eat too much at lunch time I'm not able to eat anything when it comes to tea time. What is it they say? "Breakfast like a king, lunch like a lord, supper like a pauper". Maybe my appetite wants to follow the old healthy adage.
