Today is Hong Kong SAR day, or handover (1997) day. So it's a public holiday. We would normally be having our mid year Christmas gathering - 'Christmas in July' but friends Roberto and Elizabeth and their kids are on holiday. So we've postponed it to Sunday 3rd July.

Ben, on the other hand, had organised a BBQ with his friends to celebrate his 18th. He asked if we could help and so we prepared some food and helped him lug it all to his friend's BBQ area in Olympic, where I got this landscape of HK from. Martin and I stayed and helped get him going and then he did the rest of the BBQ. It was very pleasant out there and we enjoyed this other view of Hong Kong that we'd never seen before.
