The Ridings: A Big Day Out

Wonderful to be part of the Ridings parade to make the official opening of the 5th Session of the Scottish Parliament.

We had young people representing a variety of our projects, plus Young Scot Award winners and their families.

Despite the downpours, it was so much fun - a joyful atmosphere made even better when the sun shone. So proud of the young people who were representing us - every one of them an inspiration. It was an honour to walk with them.

It was also pretty impressive how they managed to get so many MSPs - including the First Minister and the Presiding Officer - to agree to wearing temporary Young Scot tattoo's!!
