Meadow

Taken on a photo shoot at the Botanics. I chose this for a number of reasons: apparently today was National Meadows Day; this meadow is in remembrance of the soldiers killed in the First World War and it seemed fitting given the centenary of the Battle of the Somme yesterday; and I think we all took more photos of this than anything else.

The extra photos are of meconopsis and a monument to those who have made donations to the Botanics. The text reads "Nothing that ends in a gift ends in nothing".
