Gormire Lake

This is Gormire Lake on the western edge of the North York Moors looking west over the vale of Mowbray towards the Yorkshire Dales. You can just see Pen-y-ghent on the horizon.
We walked a short section of the Cleveland Way from the famous White Horse at Kilburn (extra photo), passing Sutton Bank on the way.

Lighting conditions were challenging, but I managed to achieve a perfectly exposed image by exposure blending two separate ones - something I learned last week on my course!
