Tate to Tate

Today was spent exploring the two Tate galleries, Tate Modern and Tate Britain. I spent the morning in the impressive new Switch House  extension to Tate Modern worth visiting if only for the stunning 180 degree views of London from the 10th floor balcony. Three of the floors already have many examples of modern art some strange and some accessible.
After lunch I took a boat trip to Tate Britain where in the main hall there was some performance art by three dancers shown in the extras.
On returning to the Millenium bridge the rain had set in so could not resist some ICM featuring the colourful umbrellas.
