Old friends

Busy day getting ready to do an Indonesian barbecue – satay, peanut sauce, sambal etc. – and making the puds. Not to mention getting the barbecue in a fit state to prepare food on, as it hasn’t been used for ages. Anyway, Hurricane Maria as usual did a wonderful job of getting the house spick and span and after getting the food and table ready, I squeezed in my usual last-minute shower and change just before the guest of honour arrived - our Aussie friend again, who is being feted all over the place (there’s another dinner for him on Thursday).
 
We’ve had a good evening, just six of us, all very cosy, and the food turned out well. I’ve put the left-overs away and stacked the dishes. Definitely a job for tomorrow.
 
I only took two photos, both equally lousy, but after all, this is a journal, not a photographic competition.
