National Meadows Day

Yesterday we took a trip out to Slaidburn to visit Bell Sykes Farm. These meadows lie in Bowland AONB and are designated SSSI. It was wonderful to stroll through them after a proper mug of tea and delicious cake back at the old barn. They form part of The Coronation Meadows: an idea of The Prince to use the seed from existing meadows in order to create new ones.
