Vintage Tractor Rally
After one of MrM's huge big breakfasts, we went to the Chillingham Vintage Tractor Rally at the Glendale Showground. Not just tractors - all sorts of vintage cars, motor bikes and farm machinery too, a variety of interesting steam engines, a mini car-boot sale and, bizarrely, a 'sweet' tent. Rather liked the steam-powered flour mill, and MrM's brother spent a while admiring the motor bikes.
Good to meet up with Tom and Dorothy there. After joining them for refreshment at the tea van, we headed back to the flat for a couple of hours.
Down to Alnmouth late afternoon to a music session party, with a very pleasant walk on the beach first. Home in time for the second half of the football, France vs Iceland - rooting for Iceland but, unfortunately, they lost...
