A Potential Watery Grave

I think the golfing gods must be smiling down on me at the moment: I managed to carry on today where I left off on last Thursday's round and ended up with the best score I think I've ever had - after taking my handicap into consideration, I was the equivalent of 8 under par.

There were dark mutterings from my playing partner that, if I played like that again next round, my new clubs are likely to end up at the bottom of the pond here on the 4th. I'm fairly confident my clubs are safe: I'm never likely to play so well again!
