Wide Angle Wednesday: J for J D ....

This is our local J D Wetherspoon's where I met Chris after he'd finished work and had a swim tonight to talk through his day at work. Thought he might be in need of a drink or two!

After yesterday's shock redundancy news, he's been commendably proactive and positive today in following up the leads he was given for various other jobs within the company and has got himself an interview tomorrow. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed.

Other than that it's been a routine day of shopping, swimming, cutting the grass and enjoying British success at Wimbledon.

The Lantokay was the name of the original Celtic settlement in this area (now the site of the Parish church) and meant the sacred enclosure of Saint Kay.
