The Rook.

This is a 14ft Rook chess piece which is outside Hamilton & Inches silversmiths in George Street celebrating the shop's 150th anniversary & the creation of a new bespoke chess set.
This was designed by Andy Scott the creator of "The Kelpies" at Falkirk.
