Buttertub Pass

We went to Hardraw Force today to see the highest waterfall in the UK, it was pretty impressive, mainly the geology around it! The most impressive thing was this Pass, part of which goes behind the place where we're staying, we headed here afterward. Very blowy wind but great views and actually some nice light! We took the long way back as we got a bit lost in the back roads, followed a school bus of all things for most of it, the road was barely wide enough for it in some places! Rural life!

Also been out for a very nice meal at the Rose and Crown Hotel in Bainbridge, traditional food cooked by a real master of this stuff, he came out and chatted to us as we had the place to ourselves! Apparently it takes six hours to make the homemade steak and ale pie batch that he does every few days. You can tell, super tender and delicious! No microwaved mass produced stuff here as he said!
