Morning Beetle

I noticed this stag beetle scuttling away as I went to open the chickens this morning. I told it to stay put whilst I hurried to get my camera but it didn't listen.  :-(     I'd like to get a face to face shot one day.

Today has been full up. I would like to take my feet off and get a new pair that don't hurt.
