Mantis Religiosa

While doing some admin, this little fellow was spotted on his way to who knows where ...

He would not agree to pose, seemed in quite a hurry. Yet, when he took a breath on a oil packing, he became blipped.

As to his size I have to mention that the C in Colours on the packing, is the size of a medium sized pea.

When I looked for him to help him find his way outside, he had dissappeared.

Five minutes later: Been found and took him outside to a lovely green Christmas Rose leaf. On my way, I quickly tried to evaluate his size: his little body from head to tail is no longer than 1 centimeter .... his legs are thinner than a very thin thread and his probes are only just visible!
What a perfect little creature!

And yes he rubbed his little paws together and prayed a prayer!
