Nik an da Bairns

It's been a lovely day, fine and warm, sunny all day :) 

Up early this morning and off we set to pick up the hired car, and GPS navigation :)  First stop was across the river and headed to Allan Groat's house.  He moved to Australia 9 years ago, leaving Shetland behind.  Next stop was down to see Nik at Sunshine Coast.  Left and headed north to Harvey Bay.  One slight mistake on our behalf and then Tomtom directed us to a field, but we finally made it to our motel!  

Great to able to meet up with Nik again today and also meet her bairns too.  She rustled up lunch and kangaroo was on the menu.  First time trying the meat and think my last too, but thanks all the same :)  Not sure when I'll get to meet up again but I'm sure the bairns will grow quickly.
