I made Ella a little picture book with first words under the photos of her family, her bed, ball etc. She is teaching 3 year old Thomas to sound out the letters by covering up the pictures so he can't cheat! He was very amiable about playing schools. Ella plays school a lot just now. I think she's a bit apprehensive about starting in September - it is very big and noisy compared with her small nursery, so was over-whelmed on the day she went to see it.
