Alnwick Gardens

After a late night we were barely out of bed before #2 daughter arrived with Thomas and James. We all had some fried eggs and black pudding and it was a miracle cure for morning after peekiness.

After the rain stopped we took S and M for their first visit to Alnwick Garden. We have a season ticket and some guest passes so are beginning to feel we are getting our money's worth. It was a shame the roses had had a battering by the rain, but the formal garden was stunning with the delphiniums at their best.
