........it's all been done.......

The conservatory is finally finished......apart from one little job on the outside.

So this is it....furnished and ready to be used....in fact it has been used this weekend....but today they came back and fitted the door restrictors so they can't fly back and hit the outside sills.

Two wicker armchairs, two Ikea Poangs, two little bamboo tables, and one very thin tall book case are all that's going in there. It's already been earmarked for Christmas Lunch, personally I like breakfast in there with bare feet on the cool floor.

Now I have to sort out the patio and the path round the conservatory....and then it will be our holiday in Glencoe....and before I know it I'll be back at work.

Dentist tomorrow.....a tooth to come out.....car brakes need sorting on Wednesday....... father -in-law coming on Friday.....maybe I'll be able to go fishing Thursday.

Don't believe everything you read about the Olympics......today's local paper had a photograph of two Egyptian fans surrounded by empty seats at Old Trafford yesterday....together with a headline about how disappointing ticket sales have been.......I was there yesterday....that pic was taken at least an hour before the first game started (NZ v Egypt).....the ground filled up steadily and by the time the Brazil game started there were 66, 365 people watching....that's more than most Premiership teams get for games!....and was probably just about capacity at OT seeing as three sections in two stands were closed for giant screens etc. Typical bloody British press....always look for a downside!
