Another Wimbledon Day

Took C to the hairdressers & then diverted to the canal. I parked in the service road at the back of Tesco where I got on the towpath. From here I walked up to Lock 15 also known as Ozier Bed Lock. It s a this point that Bear Brook runs under the canal which technically means that this is an Aqueduct be it a small one. (See extra). There was lots of life on the canal today ducks swans coots moorhens & chicks plus lots of fish. There were also lots of "garden birds" too, but not many insects other than the odd butterfly.

 It was 1245 when I got back to the car just in time to pick C up. Home then after a chat with the girls in the salon to a round of sandwiches for lunch.

On the sofa now watching the Federer / Raonic match ...

Much later ....I ought to mow the lawn ...
