Quiet River

I have lots of catching up to do after my trip, but couldn't resist a walk along the river. Apart from one area where there were Swifts and Martins in abundance, and a tantalising glimpse of a Kingfisher, the river was really quiet - not only in terms of wildlife - unusually, I didn't see a single Dipper -, but there were very few dog walkers and cyclists. There were quite a lot of Grey Wagtails, and the usual challenging conditions of light and shade.

We have decided to postpone tomorrow's Blipmeet until next week as the weather looks awful
