...........never had this problem. Should have been going to a retirement do for a friend this evening.............four pairs of shoes..........including the extra wide fitting ones I  got for the wedding.......ankles and feet so swollen couldn't get any of them on!

About the time I should have been heading off Helen's brother turned up for a visit.........and to break his journey down to RAF Benson........avoiding the weekend traffic. The Daughter also nipped in to see her Uncle.

The S & H and family are at a wedding this weekend.......might see them Suunday afternoon.

High point of the day..............following from last night's consultation with the neurologist the phone rang just after midday.....the European Scanning Centre at the airport.............an appointment has been booked for Monday at 2.00 in the Open Scanner..the paperwork was emailed to me.....including the information that there is a tv for me to watch during the scan...........or I can take a CD of my favourite music to listen to ...........or I can choose a radio station...........how civilised compared to the scan on Wednesday.

I think it might be time for bed.
